Background: Dura mater tensions may alter the flexibility of the spine andhamstring region through inserts featuring craniosacral level and the rest of
the body through peripheral nerves. The aim of this study was to see if the
treatment of dura can alter the flexibility of the spine and hamstrings.
Methodology: Randomized Clinical Trial, N = 42 with positive Slump Test.
The experimental group was applied a craniosacral treatment and control
group simulated techniques. Measurements Pre, Post and Post 1 week of
treatment were performed using Sit and Reach test and inclinometer in T9
and lumbosacral junction.
Results: Significant results were obtained between Pre and Post 1 week Sit

Introducción: Tensiones de la duramadre pueden alterar la flexibilidad del
raquis y de la región isquiosural a través de las inserciones que presenta a
nivel craneosacral y con el resto del cuerpo mediante los nervios periféricos.
El objetivo del estudio fue observar si el tratamiento craneosacral de la
duramadre alteraba la flexibilidad del raquis y la musculatura isquiosural.
Metodología: Ensayo clínico aleatorizado, N=42 con participantes que
presentaron un Slump Test positivo. Al grupo experimental se le aplicó un
tratamiento craneosacral y al grupo control un grupo de técnicas simuladas.
Las mediciones se realizaron Pre, Post y Post 1 semana de tratamiento
mediante el test Sit and Reach y el inclinómetro en T9 y charnela
lumbosacra.
Resultados: Se obtuvieron resultados significativos entre Pre y Post 1
semana en el Sit and Reach (p=0.023). También, resultados significativos en
