- Abstract
- Ten practicing osteopaths were interviewed regarding the training of students at the British School of Osteopathy. The aim was to ascertain whether they felt that any improvements could be made to the course with regard to the management of the psychological component of patients presenting with psychosomatic disorders. The questions were aimed at gaining cognitive knowledge about their own experiences and whether these experiences could be used to give clues as to how students might benefit in practical terms from some level of basic counselling skills training.
