- Abstract
- Idiopathic infertility is a major negative life event, which has deleterious effects on women''s and men’s well-being. In this article, causes of childlessness are presented and some modern scientific solutions are described. The conclusion is that these methods are not entirely successful and that they may cause increased levels of stress in both men and women. A common method for treatment of infertility is hormone treatment. However, this does not solve the stress, which is the cause of many cases of infertility. There may be alternative methods that have not yet been thoroughly investigated.
